So you're thinking about booking a session but not sure where to start? You're in the right place — I got you.

Step One: Booking Your Session

It all starts with a simple inquiry — nothing scary, I promise!

You can reach out through my contact form, Instagram DM, messenger, or by yelling HEY JESS (anything will get my attention). Once I hear from you, I’ll send over everything you need: available dates, pricing, potential locations, and answers to any questions you might have.

When you're ready to lock it in, I’ll send you a booking link where you’ll:

Sign a short contract

Take a quick questionnaire

Pay your deposit

Once that’s done, you’re officially on my calendar! (Cue the happy dance.)

Step Two: Staying Connected Before Your Session

Once you're booked, I won’t just disappear until shoot day. I’ll stay in touch to make sure you feel prepared and excited. We’ll chat about locations that fit your vibe (if we haven’t already picked one), and I’m happy to help with outfit ideas, whether you need inspiration or just can’t decide between this dress or that one.

You don’t need a fancy prep guide, you’ve got me. I’m here to answer questions, send reminders, and make sure you feel totally ready when the day comes.

Step Three: Shoot Day!

Whether we’re meeting at golden hour in a sun-soaked field or at your favorite cozy corner of town, shoot day is all about connection, comfort, and fun. I’ll guide you every step of the way. No awkward poses, just natural movement and genuine moments.

Expect to laugh, snuggle, chase your kids, or slow dance in a field. I’ll be there to capture the magic without making it feel like a photoshoot.

Yes, I bring a fart machine. And mini marshmallows. Because if there’s one thing I know, it’s how to get your kids smiling (and maybe a little wild in the best way).

Step Four: After the Session

After our session, I go through and hand-edit the best images. Carefully selecting the ones that tell your story best. This part takes a little time (because I care deeply about the final result), but here’s what you can expect:

Sneak peeks: Usually within a few days!

Final gallery delivery: About 2–3 weeks after your session (occasionally a little longer depending on how busy I am), an online gallery where you can  select your favorites and download your images.

I'm also happy to share where I get my favorite prints, just ask! I love helping you turn your photos into something tangible and beautiful.
